Finding beauty in the ephemeral by Jason Peters

In his installation pieces using ENTTEC lighting solutions, Jason transforms discarded objects, such as buckets, into stunning works of art. Inspired by Duchamp and Flavin, he encourages the public to question consumer culture and environmental degradation.

Jason Peters is a conceptual artist based in New York City. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums all around the world. 

Working predominantly with the medium of light, he chooses to use lighting controllers designed and manufactured by ENTTEC in Melbourne, Australia, to bring his installations to life. 

ENTTEC’s resident visual artist, Damon Torsten, spoke with Jason in order to learn more about his work and the technology that makes everything come together.
