DMD Designs’ Custom Pixel-Powered DJ Booth for Two Friends

As spring arrives and festival season starts ramping back up, we can’t help but look forward to all the beautiful creations that will grace Burning Man, Coachella, and the like.

One standout piece already on the road is a massive custom DJ booth from Dark Moon Designs, built for the Two Friends “Heatwave” tour. Owner and Founder Natalia Janusz gave us some insight into the build—a 16-foot-wide booth crafted with touring in mind.

It breaks down into five modular sections for easy transport, with each segment featuring its own control box and ENTTEC PLink Injector to keep things simple for the crew.

“It is a 16′ wide custom DJ table for the artist Two Friends. This is for their Heatwave tour that is happening right now. We have a Pixelator Mini running control to five PLinks. The table itself breaks apart into five pieces for travel, so each piece has its own control box with a PLink to keep the system simple for the touring crew.

There is roughly 160ft of LED neon in this piece in which the ENTTEC controllers are in charge of!”

At the heart of the setup is ENTTEC’s Pixelator Mini (SKU 70067), driving five PLink Injectors (SKU 73544) as part of our pixel control system.

The booth’s lighting is powered by around 160 feet of LED neon, managed through ENTTEC hardware for consistent, reliable performance across the tour.

You can catch this bold design lighting up venues across the country—showing what’s possible when creative vision meets practical, road-ready engineering.

Big thanks to Natalia and the Dark Moon Designs team for sharing their latest project, and to Greg Fry for capturing it in action!
