The OCTO LITE is a compact LED pixel controller that delivers 8 universes of eDMX-to-pixel conversion in a 4-module DIN-rail form factor. Supporting up to 1,360 RGB or 1,024 RGBW pixels per controller, this SPI pixel controller unit handles Art-Net, sACN, and ESP protocols with the same proven OCTO architecture trusted in installations worldwide.

The OCTO LITE provides 8 universes of output in a streamlined package, compared to 16 universes in the OCTO MK2 and 32 universes in the OCTO MK3. Designed for installations that don’t require standalone mode, split port functionality, or KiNet protocol support, the OCTO LITE is the LED pixel controller for projects where 8-universe capacity is the right fit. For projects requiring additional capacity or advanced features, the MK2 and MK3 provide straightforward upgrade paths within the same OCTO ecosystem.

The OCTO LITE SPI pixel controller supports more than 20 pixel protocols by default within the device, with and without a clock line. In the event of a missing protocol, our custom feature allows users to create a custom protocol for their desired pixel fixture anytime – without having to submit a support request for new firmware (refer to the Custom Protocol Creation Guide for details).
With its industry-leading, wide input voltage range of 5-60V, the OCTO LITE can be powered directly by your LED pixel strip or dots via either port. This means there’s no need for extra wires or dedicated power supplies taking up precious socket space, making it a dream device for a fast, efficient install!
Dual RJ45 Ethernet connectors enable flexible network expansion – chain up to 8 units for optimal synchronization between outputs. With 10/100Mbps network speed and built-in link & activity LED indicators on both ports, you’ll have reliable data transmission across your entire installation. It’s a breeze!
Every aspect of the OCTO LITE has been engineered for ease of installation. Choose between surface mounting or TS35 DIN rail installation with included accessories, and power the device directly from your LED pixel strip or dots via either port — no extra wires or dedicated power supplies needed.
The forward-facing LED status indicator shows device state at a glance, while the Identify/Reset button sets all 8 output universes to maximum output (255) for 10 seconds — letting you verify wiring is correct without needing an active data source or network connection. The user-friendly web interface handles device configuration, firmware updates, real-time universe buffer inspection, and network statistics, making troubleshooting straightforward on-site.
